I had a very busy day on Tuesday lifting several hundred larger trees. These are heeled in and ready to go.

I have a 3 ton digger and driver booked for next week. Providing it doesn’t rain too much he will help dig some of the larger 2 year trees, especially the perry pears which can be deep rooted and very hard work to dig by hand.

Photo taken today, here at Lodge Farm, on a tree planted 11 years ago. It is growing on Pyrus Communis root stock and is about 18 feet.

Welcome to ‘Lodge Farm Trees’ new website. I will hopefully be improving it over the coming weeks. The main thing is that the variety lists are up to date with the trees that will be available this winter.
